OF OUR EXISTENCE
Why are we here? We are all about “Glorifying God by making Christ-followers who go into the world to change the world.” That’s our mission statement and that’s why we are here. We seek to accomplish this goal through our three distinguishing characteristics. These help us worry less about personal agendas and stay focused on what God is doing in and through us.
Creating worshippers by leading people to treasure God. We value worship as an expression of our faith. We aim is that for God is to be glorified in all we do. Worship is a priority which will endeavor to do biblically to exalt God and exhort his people.
Fostering community by guiding people into Christ-centered fellowship. Everyone needs a family. We were not created to live alone in this world. When God saves us He makes us a part of His family. By engaging in small group relationships, we connect to God’s family – forming meaningful relationships. We invite you to be a part of God’s family at Heritage Baptist Church.
Producing servants by sending people to fulfill the Great Commission. We seek to participate as workers in God’s Kingdom and God’s purposes. In so doing we commit to live as salt and light in this world. Through serving others and sharing the gospel, by serving God in His work, that we will have an eternal impact on the world.
